Why is our Nations Capitol airpport the worst in the country? There seems to be no protocol to get more help. some people started yelling in the long lines. They shut down the screening 2 times in that 40 minutes wait as there were not enough lines open.	1100a

	UA	main	2013-03-11	Most checkpoints now have MMW and WTMD; only a couple have BKSX and WTMD. However in all cases there was an employee standing in the WTMD blocking it (why put some tape when you can pay someone to do this); so I opted out; normal pat down.

	Int'l	Customs transit checkpoint	2011-11-28	As you enter the checkpoint line the actual checkpoint will be on your left. The first and third lanes have backscatter, but the second lane in is metal detector only.

	All	West Checkpoint (Closest to Parking Garage)	2011-10-25	Went through in the early afternoon, when the airport is least busiest. Same procedure as always: Choose the left lane in each checkpoint in order to line yourself up wuth the WTMD. As you start loading your stuff on the belt, check to see that there is at least one person lined up at the Cancer Machine. If there isn't staff for time at the belt until the lone forms again. That's a nearly fool-proof way to self-opt out. There are also plenty of lemmings you follow each other into the Cancer Boxes, so your chances of getting through free of radiation and sexual assault are pretty good.

	Other	West Checkpoint (closest to parking garage)	2011-09-02	Went through about 5:30 pm on a Friday night and was surprised how empty the airport was! After clearing the ID checker and giving some lip to the second ID checker ten feet from the other ID checkers, I headed to the farthest of three open lanes. It was typical Dulles. The left side of each pair is the WTMD and the right side is Cancer Machine. Just get in the left line and time your move towards the WTMD to ensure there is at least one sheep waiting for the Cancer Machine. I almost caught but stood there and untangles a shoelace to give enough time for a victim to line up.

	Int'l	Main	2011-05-10	Flying AF to Paris. Late flight so terminal was not busy. Arrived at checkpoint, only 2 lanes open, and 100% going through NoS. Lines were backing up. Waited about 10 min. Didn't see one person opt-out. I guess I was going to be the 1st. But magically when I was just about 3 spots from the front - they opened the WTMD in my lane! So I got WTMD. The guy in front of me - declined the WTMD and went to the scanner! C'mon people, learn!

	UA	Main	2011-04-14	Went through during "rush hour" ~3:30 pm. Pretty much all lanes running, very crowded with lots of tourists, school tour groups, etc due to upcoming spring break. Easy to see which lanes were AIT and which were using WTMD (about 50/50). Picked a WTMD lane and went straight through.
	Other	Main -- West Checkpoint	2011-04-11	I went through the west checkpoint, which was the one in the opposite side of the terminal from United. Two lanes were open, each with a pair of WTMDs and backscatter strip search machines. Only one was operating and it was simple to self-opt out.
	AA	Main -- West (opposite side from UA)	2011-04-03	Easy to self-opt out. Pick a line on the left side of each pair, which goes through the WTMD. There were enough sheeple, unfortunately, who were willingly lining up in the Cancer Machine lines that there was never the situation of being redirected into one. I even watch a female sheeple (ewe??) in my WTMD line try to use the Cancer Machine. She was redirected back to the WTMD.

	B6	Main	2011-02-11	Of the 12 or so lines open, the last 3-4 had backscatter in use. The remainder had the AIT roped off. Standing in line for 10-15 minutes, allowed a clear view of which were in use. It was very easy to select a line that didn't have the AIT in use.
	UA		2011-02-07	Last 2 lanes both required backscatter, no choice. Middle lanes had odd lanes being forced through backscatter while even lanes were predominantly metal detector only. First 2 lanes were metal detector only with backscatter roped off.
	All	Diamond	2011-02-04	Returned home about noon on a Saturday. Walked out past the diamond lane. Cancer machine was present but roped off. The line was very small. I have observed that they turn it on about 4 pm pretty much every day. The diamond lane is used for handicapped passengers, so there are always plenty of friskings of the infirmed going on. With only one Cancer Machine and one metal detector, your chances are 50/50 if it is operating.
